![]() All I can do, I've learned on my own. Creativity - nobody will teach you. I was brought to this world on april 1986. When I was a kid I used to spread my imagination with anything that could leave a coloured mark on a white piece of paper. I still remember the first digital drawings made with Paint on a new-back-then PC. While I was growing up, my imagination adjusted itself to the means it had at its disposal - I was starting to collect small bits without knowing the importance they would've gotten in the future. "What will you do when you grow up?" I think I've never been able to answer this question. Not until I realised I could make my job out of my passion for graphics - and this didn't happen a long time ago. Bad choices and easily changeable perspectives led me to a non-artistic education, yet I believe each and every experience is a facet of our life. It's been four years since I got my diploma, but this is surely the time I could learn the most. I've never been this clear about my ideas as in this moment. Don't ask me to describe myself in four words. I've never been good at that. I can tell you that light-blue wasn't my favourite colour at the beginning - it replaced yellow many years ago. I don't listen to music only when I sleep. I love habits, but I also like to change frequently. DOWNLOAD CV (.PDF 471 KB) ![]() Mirror Of Ourselves was born in 2005 as a personal domain for an art-collective that, after all, never saw the light. When you're young, your priorities change day by day, as well as expectations and goals. After a long time of "Coming Soon", it got some sort of life two years ago, when I shifted it into my online portfolio. The time has finally come for an important update - Mirror Of Ourselves is only the name of this new path. Why Mirror Of Ourselves? Because all of my creations, everything I do, they come from myself. They come from what I am, what is surrounding me, from sounds, past and present images. Mirror Of Ourselves is taken from the lyrics of The Way We Are, a song by Lene Marlin, a Norwegian singer-songwriter whose music has been part of me for almost half my life. ![]() Learning, knowing, sharing. I'm periodically working as a freelance graphic designer in Padova (Italy), but I'm open to any experience that might let me grow professionally and personally. GET IN TOUCH ![]() After a certain preparation and experience, I would like to specialize in graphic design for music. Music has always been my first passion - I couldn't live a day without! Music is the catalyst of everything. When I unwrap a new album, the first thing I do is browsing through the booklet. I expect that the emotions I have from the listening are in connection to those my eyes convey me. I'd also like to approach to photography a lot. ![]() Walking down the street and imaging that the cars are arranged in a Pantone scale; getting a glimpse of shapes and colours in a shop window and having a shiver. To the most, this could happen with a jewellery or with a haute couture boutique... to me it's with print shops. Or more properly with anything dealing with paper and colours. Hence the recent revelation. There's a goal, professionally speaking, that I'd like to fulfill in the next years: founding my own independent design studio. Having a place where to create freely, where to combine past and modern techniques in a perfect balance. Having no limits. The road is still long, there's a lot to learn and to improve. Every single thing, each new experience... anything will help the making of the foundations of this project. | |
